Catalana is a cold iced dessert, like pudding or ice cream, eaten half defrosted.
The surface is caramelized to a crisp with a burner.
When you take it out of the freezer, cut the desired amount with a knife and melt half of it until it reaches the desired consistency.
Any leftovers can be stored in the freezer and divided into several portions.
